I’m Fred Britton. I have designed and built large food and chemical facilities around the world, helped SMEs deliver significant business returns through process, system and efficiency integrations, and led diverse teams inside world-leading supply chains. That mix – boardroom strategy and shop-floor reality – is what I bring to your business.

My Journey

I founded Pockets of Space on a simple belief: most businesses are sitting on more value than they can see, and it shouldn’t take an army of consultants to find it.

My background is hands-on – designing and building multi-million dollar food plants in Europe and Asia, and bringing that experience home to local businesses. It covers automation, robotics and construction, applied through fit-for-purpose strategies that deliver what is best for the business. Whether it’s new capital expenditure or getting more from the equipment and systems you already own, I’m equally comfortable working at shop-floor level or with the exec team creating long-term strategy – and I’ve led diverse teams across cultures at every level in between.
